Dr. Ramgopal Mopuri currently serves as the Director of Research and Innovation at BEST Innovation University. He holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry with a specialization in medicinal plants and phytocompounds against metabolic disorders from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, AP. In recognition of his significant contributions to research, Dr. Mopuri was honored with the Merit Senior Research Fellow award from CSIR, Government of India. He further received the prestigious National Postdoc Fellowship in 2017, accompanied by a grant of ?19,20,000/- from SERB, New Delhi. Dr. Mopuri has an impressive scholarly record, with a total of 42 publications, an H-index of 17, and 1510 citations. Additionally, he holds four patents (both in the UK and India) and has authored two books. His expertise is recognized globally, as he serves as an Editorial Board Member and reviewer for several esteemed peer-reviewed journals, including Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Frontiers publishers. Acknowledging his potential, Dr. Mopuri has been granted travel awards to visit Italy (2012) and Singapore (2013) under the Young Scientist category from DST, ICMR, and CSIR, Government of India.
