Overview
A bachelor of science in Horticulture is a four-year undergraduate degree program that combines science and art in the fields of growing fruits and vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants and other crops. The field of horticulture involves various aspects related to the cultivation, management and improvement of plants to improve their quality, yield and aesthetics. During the course of the programme, students work and carry out research in the fields of plant breeding, crop production and plant biochemistry etc.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed class 10+2 in Science from a recognized board with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with a minimum of 50% in aggregate for General category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC and ST.
Selection procedure
- Students are offered admission based on the marks acquired in the entrance exam, and merit marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Scores of AP EAMCET and OAMDC are considered for application / selection process
