Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Forestry (B. Sc) is a 4-year undergraduate degree that is divided into eight equal semesters. The program aims to provide students with knowledge and training in the field of Forestry. The Forestry program focuses on the management of forests, new plantations, maintenance of old plantations and natural resources. The main objective of forestry studies is to develop and implement systems and frameworks for the sustainable continuation of forest resources and supplies and to make sure that the non-renewable sources do not become extinct.

During the course of the program, students gain theoretical and practical knowledge about forestry and related fields.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed class 10+2 in Science from a recognized board with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with a minimum of 50% in aggregate for General category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC and ST.

Selection procedure

  • Students are offered admission based on the marks acquired in the entrance exam, and merit marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • Scores of AP EAMCET and OAMDC are considered for application / selection process
