Bharat Lal Meena
Founder & Chairman at Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University, Andhra Pradesh
He worked in Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with 32 years of experience at different levels and different departments in Government in Karnataka and GOI. He started his career in civil service as Assistant Commissioner and worked in key areas including Deputy Commissioner, Director of Mass Education, Managing Director Bangalore Electric Supply Co, Commissioner – BBMP & BDA, Principal Secretary – Agriculture and retired in 2017 as Additional Chief Secretary (Higher Education).
He was closely involved in power sector reforms in his service as Secretary, Karnataka Electricity Board, Managing Director, Bangalore Electric Supply Company, and Managing Director, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation.
He acquired vast expertise in Urban Development and Higher Education through large scale reforms. He is Founder President of Apnadesh Association engaged in Community Development and People’s Participation. He is the Global Chair of World Forum for Education which has undertaken lots of initiatives to bring together Innovators and Social entrepreneurs. This is a first of its kind not for profit initiative with a view to create a platform for knowledge givers and seekers and also macro influencers.

Dr. Rupa Vasudevan
A professional Educationist, with 20+ years of vast experience in education management at Institutional, Business school and University level. She is appointed by GOK as one of the top ten academician Executive members of the General council of Karnataka State Higher Education Council, apex body on education in the state and was also involved in planning and implementation of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) initiatives in association with the Government of Karnataka. She is actively involved in skilling and Agricultural development activities and trying meaningful ways in which we can make a difference to our farmers while documenting best practices / traditional agri knowledge systems by farmers from rural areas of South India – the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Promoting IAIS – International Academy of India Studies, college under Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University which primarily focuses on experiential/immersive study model of our civilizational legacy, India’s culture and heritage, traditional knowledge systems, archaeology, art forms, dance forms. Incepted Just Indic Think Bharata series of workshops that look at exploring, understanding and celebrating the tangible and intangible heritage and will highlight the relevance of ancient systems for a contemporary society.

Betty Bowman joined the faculty in 2002, and received tenure there in 2007. Before joining the faculty, she was a visiting assistant professor at Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to that, she was a legal consultant with JPMorgan Chase; a contract attorney for Cravath, Swaine & Moore; and an assistant prosecutor for the Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto, Canada.

Allison Distinguished Professorship and received every teaching award the law school and the University conferred.
